On August 12, 2022, the world will be marking the International Youth Day. In line with this and our vision, the PL9 Foundation will be presenting the inaugural Youth Community Impact Awards which aims to celebrate excellence, engagement and volunteering in community projects and activities by the youths.

The awards will be held in the London Borough of Bexley.

About Us

We are a group of passionate young people who have experienced change and transformation through the power of coaching and mentoring. Through PL9 and Youth Community Impact Awards, we are taking a bold step to give back to our local communities by using our gifts, talents and skills to help the generations coming up after us.

Advantages To Nominated Individuals

For every youth you nominate, you will be encouraging their devotion and contribution to the community while encouraging other youths to be connected to their communities. Everyone youth nominated will receive a congratulations packet from PL9 organisation initially, then a certificate and a trophy during the ceremony. We intend to partner with local and national radio and tv stations, police, local councils, universities, colleges and schools to continue to support the outstanding involvement of youths in the community activities. We hope to put youths' stories in the spotlight through a partnership with media outlets like social media forums, newspapers, tv and radio stations.

Advantages To Nominated Organisations

For every organisation, you nominate you will be exhibiting pride in their relentless effort of working with youths and distinction. This awards also will serve as a means of free publicity prospect to this organisation. Where an organisation is invited for an award, they will have an opportunity to attend a gala dinner as a team by purchasing a table at the splendid gala dinner – what a golden opportunity to uplift the organisation's profile all through networking with other members and leaders of the community and staff motivation by team building!

The Meet the Judges day

All selected nominees will be requested to attend a short briefing and interview session with the judging panel. This interview will take place in London, usually about four weeks to the Awards. All nominees will be required to be available to attend this session day. The set date, venue and activities of the day will be conveyed shortly.
