Nominations are Now Open!

Deadline for submission of nominations is June 15th, 2022.

Requirements

  • Nominees should be 15 years of age or older at the date of nomination.
  • Nominees must live or work in the UK.
  • Nominees should be willing to provide a maximum of three minute presentation at the reception
  • Nomination must be based on work done in current year from last awards 2021.
  • Evidence of work done is paramount
  • Nominations should be submitted using this nomination form. Please note that handwritten nomination or documents will not be accepted.
  • Only ONE nomination form is required.
  • You may include supporting documents (articles, testimonials, or work, etc.) with your completed nomination form. Maximum of five pages – excluding the nomination form.
  • Self-nomination is allowed.

Who can nominate?

Nominations can come from anyone, including friends, family, and co-workers. Nominees, on the other hand, can nominate themselves.

After submission, what next?

  • Review of Nominations: A review panel will review all nominations to make sure evidence given satisfy activities with community impact and also making sure it falls under the appropriate category.
  • Bear in mind that the nominated category might change if the reviewing panel decides otherwise based on the content of the evidence. If this happens, both the nominee and the nominator will be informed.
  • Special cases submitted past the deadline may still be considered at the judging panel’s discretion. 
  • Notification and Evidence Request: All nominees will be contacted and informed of their nomination for the Youth community impact awards and will also be requested to provide any evidence of their contribution.
  • Event Reservations: Nominees and their nominators will be invited to reserve their attendance tickets for self, friends, colleagues or family members.
  • Nominee Meet-Up: Selected nominees may have a meet up with the reviewers and organising committee several weeks before the ceremony.
  • Awards: Selected nominees will receive recognition and a beautifully crafted award for the World International Youth Day, August 12, 2022.  All youth will enjoy equal celebration as the purpose of this event is not to pit youths against each other but rather, to recognize their achievements, contribution and impact within their community.

Please note that all qualified nominees MUST be available on the evening of Saturday, August 13, 2022 for the award ceremony.
All under 18s should be accompanied by an adult.

What happens after you submit your nomination for Youth Community Impact Awards?

Notification and Evidence Request: We will be contacting all the nominees to inform them of their nomination for the Youth community impact awards and also request for any evidence of their contribution.

Event Reservations: We will invite nominees and nominators to reserve their attendance tickets for self, friends, colleagues or family members.

Nominee Meet Up: Nominee will have a meet up with the reviewers and organising commitee on Febuary 10th of June 2022 .

Awards: All nominated youth will receive recognition and a beautifully crafted award on the 12th of August 2022.We promise to celebrate all the youth in the same manner since the rationale of this event is to recognise achievements, contribution and impact and not another competition for youth.

All qualifying nominees MUST be available: evening of Friday, 12th of August 2022 for the award program and photo session in Bexley.
